ABOUT DR. WHITAKER

Dr. Beatrice Whitaker is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a focus on medical ophthalmology, including glaucoma treatment, intravitreal injections for diabetic retinopathy and exudative macular degeneration.

As a native Brooklynite, Dr Whitaker enjoys caring for the patients from the community that she has lived and trained in. She takes interest in educating patients on how their general health issues can influence their eyes. In her free time, Dr Whitaker enjoys running, distance walking and spin classes.

Dr. Beatrice Whitaker is a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York State Ophthalmologic Society.
